Three years since the Marilyn screenprint was released and sold out via PicturesOnWalls, French artist is releasing a reinvented version of the image based on one of the iconic pop art portraits.
Like the screenprint from 2012, the new lithograph is based on the legendary image of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol. This time, Tilt’s image is worn out, weathered and aged, giving the raw, street feel to the whole piece. Also, the more authentic feel of the image is further emphasized by the title “Norma Jeane” which is less popular, real name of one of the most popular actress of all time.
This lithograph is continuing Print Them All’s series of limited editions as part of the upcoming “Main Street” exhibition at Mohammed VI Museum in Rabat (Morocco) curated by Print Them All.
