Shortly after the unfortunate passing of LA Hip Hop legend Nipsey Hussle, Mark Paul Deren aka MADSTEEZ received a phone call from Compton rapper The Game. Despite being from different neighborhoods in LA and in fact affiliate with different long standing gang cultures in LA both The Game and Nipsey Hussle shared a close relationship throughout their respective careers. It was no surprise that The Game commissioned Mark to recreate a large scale painting in the image of Nipsey to pay homage.
On the 4th anniversary of Nipsey’s death Print Them All and MADSTEEZ are releasing a limited edition screenprint. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the NeighborhoodNip Foundation, an initiative that seeks to provide opportunities for young creatives in music.
