“I named it like this because this lithograph is multiplied, with an offset black shadow. It is a double reference, as a wink, to the beginnings of graffiti, where we always made a shadow to our graffiti. It is also a reference to the first movie of John Cassavetes, “Shadows”, that I like. This lithograph illustrates this double reference, a combination between the love of graffiti and cinema.” L’Atlas
In this lithograph, we can find the pictorial universe of the artist, a subtle blend of calligraphy and optical art, almost hypnotic. A unique typography created by the artist himself, where the words are revealed in a geometric way through vertical and horizontal lines. Calligraphy is no more than abstraction, lost in a labyrinth. There is also a purity, both in the gesture and the choice of colors.
