“This place is magical, it’s like a little « Parisian cliché » in Montparnasse where time has stopped. This allows to stop and focus on what we will create without any distraction. When we settle here we are in a kind of cocoon, it’s inspiring and it make you feel good.

The visual of the lithograph is about bitcoin and blockchain. What interests me is that, for the first time, I feel we can live without centralization, I mean, without the banking system and I find it very interesting. I advocate respect in my work, I like equality and I think that, for once, we might reach a system where, through machines, we won’t be able to have this inequality anymore: everyone will have access to the same exchange system without having anybody who can pollute all that, who can steal. It’s the “flower power” theme link with the blockchain power. I like this example, where, how in all trading systems, we have come to the fact that human is the polluter, the bad machine in the middle of all that. Thanks to these new technologies, by removing the human and all its faults, we can perhaps aim at something egalitarian.

I am very happy with the lithograph, I have to admit that I’m tired of seeing editions that are computer images printed. In respect of tradition what I find interesting is that this lithograph comes from an original artwork that is printed. I love seeing and feeling this grain, the fact that we can feel the pencil, the nib, the oil painting behind. I’m really happy with this: it’s not because we make lithograph that we can’t go back to traditional techniques instead of printing an Illustrator visual and making it an object of decoration.” Ludo
