Galerie des Bains is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2018 by the Family Hubert and Cedrik Pages. Located in the heart of the Quartier des Bains, Geneva’s art center and surrounded by the MAMCO and MEG museums, Gallery des Bains both exhibits renowned artists while also giving a platform to young emerging artists on the international scene.

Cedrik Pages opened the Galerie des Bains in 2018 with the aim to lead his personal project after several years working alongside his father’s gallery known as the “Frank Pages Gallery”. Thanks to his family background and having always been surrounded by art, Cedrik developed a sensibility and a firm background in the art field. Frank Pages, his father, opened his first gallery back in 1988 in Baden-Baden, Germany and later on in Crans-Montana before moving to Geneva, Switzerland.  The gallery history is best known for its collaboration with important artists such as Pierre Soulages, Olivier Debré, Zao Wou-Ki, Chu Teh-Chun and Allen Jones, amongst many others.

The choice of the artists represented by the gallery is the result of a critical analysis of the art market and the artistic visions of each single artist. Furthermore, the gallery is very engaged to promote African artists with practices related to politics, environmental and socio-cultural content. Thanks to its commitment to represent socially engaged artists, the gallery aims at overturning preconceived ideas and prejudices by raising awareness towards its public. As a result, a fundamental objective is to organize exhibitions around strong social themes in order to address them in a differentiated fashion.  The Gallery des Bains now represents artists such as Allen Jones, Hebru Brantley, Jamie Diamond, Wahib Chehtah and Solomon Adufah, to name few.
